Iranian documentary 'Children of the Night' has made its way to the Giffoni Film Festival in Italy.

The film directed by Behrouz Nouranipour will be screened at the documentary competition section of the 50th edition of the Italian festival.

Produced by the Center for Expansion of Documentary and Experimental Cinema, the film will compete at the documentary competition section of the festival.

The 83-minute 'Children of the Night' narrates the life story of soldier kids in wars.

The doc had its national premiere at the 13th edition of Cinema Verite film festival in Iran.

The Giffoni International Film Festival is one of the most well-known children's film festivals in the world. It takes place in the small Italian town of Giffoni Valle Piana in Campania, Southern Italy, close to Salerno and Naples.

The 2020 edition of the event is slated for December 26-30.
